| Another one of my beloved childhood pets is no longer with us, as of yesterday. I truly didn't realize that, leaving home on the weekend of Ben and Tiffany Evans' wedding, I'd never see her again. I wish I had known to say goodbye; but unfortunately, it's not the first time I've let a loved one be ripped from me by time and decay without opportunity of a fond farewell. If memory serves me correctly, my parents got her for me when I was ten. We were living in a duplex in Longview. She was my dog, and I loved her. She was amazing, and an extremely sweet animal. As smart as she was, she had more personality than most dogs I've ever seen, making her a blast to play with and be around.

Anyone who knows me probably understands that I love animals more than most people, so I'm inclined to take such things harder than most. Don't you judge me. Indeed, as another important part of my past crumbles before my eyes, my next return to East Texas will seem that much more empty.

| New recording of an old song! Actually, this is the first song that I ever composed in its entirety, many years ago. If you ever heard the late No Longer Nameless in concert, you certainly heard this song at some point. Anyway, I re-recorded it, making it my second recorded song using my new condenser mic. I think it's pretty good for a home recording with very minimal equipment. So, I have placed it on my MySpace; please have a listen! It should be the first song listed at http://www.myspace.com/pluckinthaguitarra ! Thank you.

| It's true! I finally finished re-recording my goofiest song ever (so far). If you haven't heard it before, rest assured that it's entirely appropriate for ears of all ages (I've played it in multiple churches).
This is the first song recorded using both my new condenser microphone that my lovely parents got me as an early birthday present and my new keyboard that I bought a few weeks ago and don't yet know how to play. =P
Anyway, click here and have a listen, please: http://www.myspace.com/pluckinthaguitarra. Thank you!

| LOL! I just received an e-mail from RedBox (http://www.redbox.com) detailing new releases for today. One of them is the 2009 remake of Friday the 13th (shown below, for your convenience):
Now, I didn't see this, but somehow I'm less than convinced that Tom Cruise is in this movie. Actually, I'm not sure if having Tom Cruise in Friday the 13th would help the movie or hurt it. In any case, he's certainly creepy enough to be a mass murderer...
